Suffolk County Mothers Honored by National Coalition of 100 Black Women

On Saturday, January 6th, 2018, 3rd Chapter President Bernice Burnett and Mother Vanessa Braxton were both honored by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Long Island Chapter, Inc at their 2018 Black and White Candlelight Ball. The biennial gala honors trailblazing women across various industries and women who they recognize as “sheros”.  Suffolk County’s 3rd chapter president, Bernice Burnett was honored as the 2018 Suffolk County Shero and Mother Vanessa Braxton who serves as the current Seargent-At-Arms, was honored as a 2018 Trailblazer. Suffolk County congratulates them on this honor as they continue to exemplify leadership and service!
